Bayern Munich obliterated VfL Bochum 7-0 and one of the game’s big stars was Leroy Sane.

Sane, who just a few weeks ago was the recipient of jeers from the crowd, is now getting applause after finding his form. The highlight of the match for Sane was a dipping free kick that found the back of the net after VfL Bochum’s wall prematurely crumbled.

“I looked at how the wall was standing and decided to shoot directly. I train a lot on free kicks,” Sane said (as captured by Tz). “I know what I have to deliver. I don’t want to experience something like that again, of course. I always want to give my best and hope that I can continue to deliver such performances.”

As for VfL Bochum, Sane thinks that Bayern Munich simply took care of business.

“At the beginning you could see that Bochum were very aggressive, in every tackle. After our first goal, we got going and from then on we started to score our goals. I always try to do my best. At the moment it’s going very, very well. I just want to keep going,” said Sane (as captured by FCBayern.com).
