Bayern Munich scored seven goals on a gorgeous day in Munich (finally, a home game!), showcasing their talents out there and just having fun! The score at half time was 4-0 thanks to goals from Leroy Sané, Joshua Kimmich, Serge Gnabry and an own goal. The score-line gave Julian Nagelsmann the chance to rest Alphonso Davies and bring on Richards for his debut.

Bayern added a fifth from Robert Lewandowski, a sixth from Joshua Kimmich and a seventh from Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting; Choupo’s goal was his 50th goal of his Bundesliga career, a milestone.

Marcel Sabitzer and Bouna Sarr also got minutes on the pitch; Sabitzer hopefully might get a start against Greuther Fürth but, perhaps, Nagelsmann didn’t feel he was ready yet.

Thomas Müller seemed to have scored an eighth; unfortunately, the goal wouldn’t stand because of VAR. A Müller goal would have been perfect to wrap up the day but it wasn’t to be today.
