Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn is not holding back, he expects this team to make a strong run at every major title.

“Our goal is to win the 10th title in a row, something that no club from the top leagues has achieved before. We also want to win the Pokal and be in the front row in the Champions League. We can’t plan that though, as injuries play a role, like we saw with Lewy against PSG,” said Kahn to Welt (as captured by Twitter @iMiaSanMia). “Our goal must remain (to be among the top four in Europe). We managed to belong to the top of Europe in the past decade. So why should we move away from this goal? We have a strong squad that is able to achieve our ambitious goals for the season. And as you could see with Jamal Musiala, you shouldn’t underestimate the potential of our youngsters.”

The squad that Kahn has helped form looks to be deep, talented, and fully capable of living up to the expectations in place. With a strong mix of veterans and young players, Bayern Munich could be one of the few squads in Europe capable of facing off with Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Chelsea for the Champions League title.
