Bayern Munich’s Thomas Müller was not so sure he should rip off a shot in the first half against FC Barcelona. In fact, he almost passed up a good opportunity to try and get his teammates more involved.

But that little devil on his should whispering to him to shoot won out and Müller let loose with an attempt that took a deflection and ultimately landed in the net.

“I cleared myself in the space, Barca’s defense fell back. Before that, I decided to pass, so I thought to myself, ‘Come on, shoot for the goal’ — and luckily it worked,” Müller said (as captured by Tz).

Müller credited his aggressive mindset to the atmosphere of playing against FC Barcelona in the Champions League. More, getting the win was the ultimate goal for the day.

“Playing here makes of course — and to leave here with 3:0 is of course top,” Müller said.
