FC Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman is well aware of the score line the last time Bayern Munich.

Despite many of his players also realizing what happened, Koeman wants his squad to stay focused.

“It’s been more than a year and several players suffered a lot from that game. We have a unique opportunity tomorrow. We can hurt Bayern and we have a good team for that. We have to play our style to hurt the opponent,” FC Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman said (as captured by Twitter account @iMiaSanMia). “We have had changes in the team and we needed time, but football does not give you time. It will be an interesting game and we can draw good conclusions of where we stand after the game.”

Koeman, though, does not think “revenge” will be enough to knock off the Bavarians. FC Barcelona will have to out-perform the visitors.

“We know that Bayern is a great team, with individual quality and experienced players. We want to compete in the Champions League and we play at home tomorrow. We will try to get a good result to start the Champions League,” said Koeman stated.
