Seven Bayern Munich Frauen players selected for German national team

The Bayern Munich Frauen are on an incredible roll and the players on the team are getting recognized for their top performances.

In a release from the German national team, the following Frauen players were selected for Germany’s squad:

  • Laura Benkarth
  • Maxi Rall
  • Klara Buhl
  • Linda Dallmann
  • Sydney Lohmann
  • Lina Magull
  • Lea Schüller

Germany has upcoming UEFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers against Bulgaria (Saturday, September 18th at 10:07AM EST) and Serbia (Tuesday, September 21st at 10:00AM EST). Israel, Portugal, and Turkey are also in Group H.

The Bayern Munich Frauen are currently 2-0-0 and sitting top the Women’s Bundesliga table. The Frauen have outscored their opposition 11-0 in those two matches and look to have one of the deepest and most talented rosters in the world. That depth should afford the Frauen the ability to weave in some extra rest for their players who leave to play for their respective national teams.
