Bayern Munich recently extended the contract of Joshua Kimmich and are expected to announce the extension of his midfield partner Leon Goretzka once he returns from the international break. Now, out of thin air, there are talks about Serge Gnabry’s future at the club. The German international, whose current contract runs until 2023, was asked whether he would be extending his stay in Munich.
Gnabry responded, “I feel very comfortable at Bayern, but I still have time in my contract. Let’s see what happens.”
Per Sport1, there has already been an exchange of words between the club and the player regarding the new contract. Although, the latter has not made any decisions yet. The player is currently in Stuttgart preparing for Die Mannschaft’s World Cup qualifiers under Hansi Flick.

With almost two years left in his contract, the front office has more than enough time in their hands to negotiate and strike a deal with the 26-year-old if they are looking forward to keep him at the club.
