According to French outlet L’Equipe (as captured by Twitter account @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich never made a formal, “concrete” offer to Paris Saint-Germain for Germany international Thilo Kehrer.
The news on Kehrer stoked a fire among Bayern Munich fans, leaving many puzzled as to how and where Kehrer would fit on the Bavarians’ roster. A versatile defender, who can play center-back and right-back, Kehrer has not exactly reached the potential — as of yet — that he was once predicted to achieve.
Kehrer, though, did do enough of late to earn a call back to the German national team by Hansi Flick. Whatever the future hold for Kehrer, it at least appears that his on Bayern Munich’s radar — though it remains to be seen if the club would actually make him a formal offer in the future.
The Bavarians already have a surplus of talent along the backline and likely will not need to bring in an established player any time soon.
