Good news from Säbener Straße!
Per Bild’s twitter account, Kingsley Coman and Lucas Hernandez have reportedly returned to Bayern Munich training. Coman had sustained a bruised rib in last week’s friendly game against Napoli, whereas Hernandez had to miss Die Roten’s pre-season with a torn meniscus he suffered at Euros.
For the first time after picking up their respective injuries, the French duo took part in a light running session today. Hernandez, in particular, looked elated to be back on the pitch after undergoing knee surgery.

Coman hasn’t returned to full fitness yet, as the 25-year-old allegedly experienced breathing problems.

Nevertheless, the comebacks for Coman and Hernandez will surely come as a boost for new head coach Julian Nagelsmann, who will face Adi Hütter’s Borussia Mönchengladbach in his first competitive game in charge of Bayern Munich, next week.
