The DFB-Pokal match between Bayern Munich and Bremer SV has been rescheduled to August 25th.
The original match was to be played on Friday August 6th, but a COVID-19 case at Bremer SV pushed the DFB to reschedule the match for later this month as a precaution.
The postponement was a lost opportunity for Bayern Munich to get in a match before the Bundesliga opener next Friday against Borussia Mönchengladbach. Gladbach has given Bayern Munich a tough time in recent years and the Bavarians will have non-injured members of their first unit working under Julian Nagelsmann for the first time:

Now, Bayern Munich’s condensed early season schedule just got a little more frantic. The Bavarians will play five games in 15 days with a strong of opponents that include Gladbach (Bundesliga, August 13th), Borussia Dortmund (DFL-Supercup, August 17th), FC Köln (Bundesliga, August 22nd), Bremer SV (DFB-Pokal, August 25th), and Hertha Berlin (Bundesliga, August 28th).
