Dual two-goal scorers Lea Schüller and Maximiliane Rall led Bayern Munich to a 4-2 victory at the Women’s French Cup in Toulouse on Wednesday.

Rall and Janina Leitzig made their debuts for Bayern in this match following transfers to the club from Hoffenheim this summer. While the four Olympians were missing in this one, Bayern were also without Lina Magull, Ivana Rudelić, Kristin Demann, Giulia Gwinn, Sydney Lohmann, and Mala Grohs.

The two goals from Lyon came late in the match with Bayern already up 4-0. Amel Majri scored in the 83rd minute and Wendi Renard scored in the 87th.

Bayern XI: Leitzig - Rall, Wenninger, Hegering, Simon - Zadrazil, Vilhjálmsdóttir (80. Schuster) - Asseyi, Dallmann, Bühl (80. Gavric) - Schüller (61. Damnjanović)

On Friday, Bayern will face AS Roma who beat Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 in the final of the Women’s French Cup.

In two weeks, Bayern will travel to the United States to take part in The Women’s Cup against Paris Saint-Germain, Racing Louisville, and the Chicago Red Stars.
