More good news! Kehrer to stay at PSG (@Plettigoal)

For those of you sweating out the reports that Paris Saint-Germain defender Thilo Kehrer was a transfer target of Bayern Munich, we have some good news courtesy of Sport1 journalist Florian Plettenberg.

Instead of a potential move, Kehrer wants to stay in Paris and prove himself:

Internal doubts about Bayern (Sport Bild via @iMiaSanMia)

Sport Bild unleashed a tidal wave of news in the last 36 hours and not the least of which is that there is at least some internal doubt in the Bayern Munich front office about depth in the squad:

The news coincided with the reports about Die Roten having an interest in RB Leipzig’s Marcel Sabitzer. Surely a move like that would ease any doubt, but the viability of it actually happening is what really should be in doubt. One thing that seems clear, however, is that Bayern Munich has a versatile, central midfielder atop its wish list.

Regardless, I’m one of the (few?) people not sweating starting the season with Benjamin Pavard as the right-back, so I don’t harbor some of the uneasiness many fans feel about that position.

Grealish to City looks done (@FabrizioRomano)

Aston Villa star Jack Grealish appears set for his long-rumored move to Manchester City:

German outlet kicker captured some of the fine details of the deal:

It would be the most expensive Premier League transfer this summer: Jack Grealish (25) is about to move to Manchester City, according to several English media reports. The national player and midfielder from Aston Villa is said to be worth a transfer fee of 100 million pounds (approx. 118 million euros) to the reigning champions. At Villa, Grealish’s contract runs until 2025, he only extended it last September.

As always, when we have Grealish news in the Schmankerl...never forget:

As you can guess, people are already poking fun at the move:

Goretzka’s negotiations are back on...finally! (Bild via @iMiaSanMia)

The talks between Bayern Munich and Leon Goretzka are back on:

Sport Bild’s Christian Falk went as far as to say things are “looking better”:

Hague to Eintracht looks done (@RudyGaletti)

It looks like Jens Hague is making the move from AC Milan to Eintracht Frankfurt:
