After weeks of speculation, Bayern Munich has officially signed former RB Leipzig midfielder Marcel Sabitzer to a deal.
While terms of the transfer were not disclosed, Bayern Munich is rumored to be paying RB Leipzig a fee of roughly €15 million to €16 million, with built-in escalators that could make the price stretch higher.
All-in-all, however, that is an extremely good price for a world class talent like Sabitzer:

(What a video by the way!)
Sport1’s Florian Plettenberg struck early and reported that Bayern Munich and Sabitzer agreed on a four-year deal. The move should stabilize the club’s midfield for years to come. Incumbent starter Joshua Kimmich has already inked an extension through 2025, while his partner in the center of the park, Leon Goretzka, is rumored to be signing a new deal through the 2026 season after the current international break:

Sabitzer will strengthen the club’s depth in the central midfield and at wing, where some are expecting him to be an option for Julian Nagelsmann.
