The Champions League group stage fixtures have been released and we know have a better idea of how Bayern Munich’s Autumn will look. FC Bayern will open their Champions League campaign away to FC Barcelona on September 14. Here is the full list:

  • September 14: @ FC Barcelona
  • September 29: vs Dynamo Kiev
  • October 20: @ SL Benfica
  • November 2: vs SL Benfica
  • November 23: @ Dynamo Kiev
  • December 8: vs FC Barcelona

Perhaps worth mentioning is the fact that both of Bayern’s fixtures with FC Barcelona will come directly after playing away to their two biggest Bundesliga rivals. Bayern will be away to Leipzig on September 11 before traveling to Spain. Then they will be at Dortmund the weekend before their final group showdown against Barcelona in Munich.

In addition to the Champions League and Bundesliga fixtures, Bayern will also have to worry about one DFB-Pokal match and three international windows, in which a majority of Bayern players will be competing for their national teams’ World Cup qualification. Germany, for example, is set to play three matches in the September window, two in the October window, and two in the November window. This means that most players could see two matches per week until the break in December.
