Bayern Munich’s DFB-Pokal match in doubt after positive COVID-19 test at Bremer SV

According to butenunbinnen.de, a positive COVID-19 case at Bremer SV could have the club’s DFB-Pokal match against Bayern Munich in doubt:

At BSV, a player tested positive for Corona on Monday. What consequences this has for the cup game against Bayern Munich on Friday is still unclear. Bad news for the Bremen fifth division team before the big cup hit on Friday evening in the Weser Stadium: There was a corona case in coach Benjamin Eta’s team on Monday. The training was then canceled, the player who tested positive is in quarantine, as the Bremen SV announced.

Bremer SV is slated to play Bayern Munich on Friday, but it is unclear if there will be any fallout from the positive test. All team members will be tested on Tuesday with results available at 12 noon local time.

If all the tests are negative, Bremer SV will do a night training on Tuesday and resume all preparations for Friday’s match.
