The Marcel Sabitzer transfer saga seems to be coming to an end! Bayern Munich have reportedly reached an agreement for the Austrian midfielder with RB Leipzig. The deal could soon be finalized and be made official.
The news was broken by Tobi Altschäffl and Christian Falk, via Bild.
RB Leipzig und der FC Bayern haben in Gesprächen schnell eine Lösung gefunden. Ablösesumme unter 16 Mio. Euro. Mit Sabitzer selbst herrschte schon lange ein Konsens über den Transfer.

Altschaffl says that Bayern and Leipzig quickly reached an agreement and that the transfer fee will be under 16 million euros. He also confirmed that Bayern and Sabitzer reached a deal on personal terms a long time ago.
So it seems that everything is ready for Sabitzer to move to Bavaria and work under his former coach, Julian Nagelsmann. After the international break, Bayern will play against RB Leipzig on the 11th of September, and Marcel Sabitzer could make his debut for the Rekordmeister against his former club.
According to Transfermarkt, Marcel Sabitzer’s worth is 42 million euros, and getting him for under 16 million is a steal. Fantastic job, Brazzo!

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano said that Sabitzer was only considering a move to Bayern Munich:
FC Bayern are closing on Marcel Sabitzer as new signing, agreement confirmed and here we go soon! Fee around €16m as reported by @cfbayern @sportbild today. #FCBayern

Sabitzer was not considering any other proposal. He only wants Bayern.
