The Marcel Sabitzer transfer saga seems to be coming to an end! Bayern Munich have reportedly reached an agreement for the Austrian midfielder with RB Leipzig. The deal could soon be finalized and be made official.

The news was broken by Tobi Altschäffl and Christian Falk, via Bild.

Altschaffl says that Bayern and Leipzig quickly reached an agreement and that the transfer fee will be under 16 million euros. He also confirmed that Bayern and Sabitzer reached a deal on personal terms a long time ago.

So it seems that everything is ready for Sabitzer to move to Bavaria and work under his former coach, Julian Nagelsmann. After the international break, Bayern will play against RB Leipzig on the 11th of September, and Marcel Sabitzer could make his debut for the Rekordmeister against his former club.

According to Transfermarkt, Marcel Sabitzer’s worth is 42 million euros, and getting him for under 16 million is a steal. Fantastic job, Brazzo!
