It’s the final game before an international break, which is always a tricky thing to deal with for a Bayern Munich coach. Julian Nagelsmann needs to beat Hertha Berlin, but he has to do so while knowing that his players will be subjected to a grueling international schedule in the coming weeks. Points have to be weighed against rest, and choosing an optimal lineup is much harder than usual.
Thankfully, Bayern face Hertha who are in a bit of a bad spot at the moment, and the Allianz Arena will finally be back to 1/3rd capacity, as the Bavarian state government has allowed the stadium to host up to 25,000 spectators. That should be enough of an advantage for Bayern to come out with a win, but let’s see how things go.
