According to a report from kicker (as captured by Twitter account @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich is going to relax its internal requirements to sell players before acquiring their own transfer targets.
This news comes with just days left in the summer transfer window and on the heels of news that Bayern Munich has been closely-linked to two very affordable players in RB Leipzig midfielder Marcel Sabitzer and Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Jonas Hofmann.
The rumored transfer fees for both players would be no more than €40 million in total (if the most recent news is true). That number (or lower) could be doable for the Bavarians, who many think have too thin of a roster to withstand the rigors of this season’s domestic and European schedule — not to mention the extra games that will be played by international players.
Bayern Munich still could sell players such as Corentin Tolisso, Michael Cuisance, and Bouna Sarr to offset any money spent, but those players have not generated much interest as of yet.
