With the new season underway Bayern Munich are set to embark on another Champions League journey — and it all starts with the group stage. Admittedly not as critical as the latter rounds of the tournament, the group stage draws represent a critical juncture of the team’s season.
Pot 2 and Pot 3 have some really strong teams this time, and Pot 4 isn’t looking too shabby either. Top teams from England, Spain, and Italy all lie in wait, and Bayern have a high likelihood of being drawn into a group of death. Given the team’s relatively slow start to the season and Julian Nagelsmann’s relative inexperience on the European stage, things could get very interesting.
