Bayern Munich international callups: Josip Stanisic and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting get the nod

As Bayern Munich steamrolls toward the international break, many of the team’s players will get the call from their respective countries.

While there is a ton of anticipation to see what Hansi Flick does with Germany, many fans are just as interested in seeing if any dark horse candidates are called in to represent their country.

So far, we have two players, who have received their phone calls, emails, or texts:

Cameroon

• Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (his email went to the correct address!)

Croatia U-21

• Josip Stanisic

There will assuredly be a lot more international call-ups. Germany and France should once again rule the roost in terms of how many players will get the nod from Bayern Munich. The biggest questions with those two squads remain around a couple of things:

• Will Dayot Upamecano get a senior team invitation from Didier Deschamps?
• How many Bayern Munich players will Hansi Flick bring in to his first camp as manager of the German national team.
