In what might be the most bizarre Bayern Munich transfer rumor of this summer window, the Bavarians are reportedly among a throng of German teams interested in Paris Saint-Germain defender Thilo Kehrer.
Kehrer, who can play as a center-back, a right-back, or a right wing-back, allegedly has Bayern Munich, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Eintracht Frankfurt, and Wolfsburg all intrigued per Fussball Transfers:
Thilo Kehrer arouses interest in the Bundesliga. According to FT information, FC Bayern, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Eintracht Frankfurt and VfL Wolfsburg are in contact with the 24-year-old’s advisor from Paris St. Germain. According to media reports from France, PSG is ready to sell Kehrer on an offer of 20 million euros. The nine-time German national player is still under contract with the Nobel Club until 2023. Bayer Leverkusen also has the versatile defender on the list.
While it is plausible that those clubs could be interested in Kehrer, this kind of feels like leaked information from Kehrer’s agent in hopes of getting a move away from Paris Saint-Germain, where playing time could be hard to come by for the 24-year-old.
