The FC Bayern Munich Frauen and Paris Saint-Germain were all tied after five penalty kicks each in The Women’s Cup until Hanna Glas ended it. The Frauen will now to move on to Saturday’s final against the winner of the Chicago Red Stars and Racing Louisville.

Jersey Swap: Sandy Baltimore

Sandy Baltimore was a handful for Bayern Munich and created PSG’s first goal with a beautiful, arched cross that set up Marie-Antoinette Katoto’s deft header goal. Baltimore has silky skills and is so crafty with the ball on her foot. Baltimore also had the assist on Kheira Hamrauoi’s second half header as well.

Der Bomber: Lea Schüller

Schüller was a constant threat for Bayern Munich and eventually broke through for the Frauen’s second goal as she headed home a free kick attempt from Carolin Simon that hit the crossbar. The duo of Schüller and Linda Dallmann was extremely tough for PSG to handle.

Der Fußballgott: Sarah Zadrazil

Zadrazil was a menace. She brought physicality to the midfield and was always looking to force the issue offensively as well. PSG is a tremendous counterattacking side and Zadrazil was able to help effectively limit the damage. Her energy in the midfield was contagious.

Der Kaiser: Carolin Simon

Simon was a solid presence down the left defensive flank for Bayern Munich and also contributed offensively. Her free kick set up Schüller’s header goal and she also did some fine work with Vivi Asseyi in the second half. More, she did it all after picking up a knock in the first half.

Honorable mention to Janina Leitzig for her confidence against PSG’s penalty takers.

Meisterin of the Match: Linda Dallmann

Dallmann was a consistent presence offensively for Bayern Munich. She was always looking to create offense for herself and others. Dallmann put home Bayern Munich’s first goal after a terrific run of play an assist from Saki Kumagai. Lea Schüller had the hockey assist on the play, which was just terrific.
