Bayern Munich has officially unveiled their third kit for the 2021/2022 season. Although this has been leaked for months now, we now have confirmation from the club itself. The kits are already available for purchase in the FC Bayern Online store.

The new shirt will be worn by the players for the first time at today’s DFL-Supercup clash against Borussia Dortmund. Apart from this match, Die Roten will wear these kits all over Europe during its Champions League matches.

“Being a born-and-bred Bavarian, I particularly like this look. I love the mountains, I love my home, and I think it’s nice we can illustrate to the whole world this special attitude to life we have here with this jersey,” Thomas Müller said about the unveiled kit.

This kit was inspired by the mountain panorama of Munich’s surroundings and incorporates plenty of Bavaria’s home ties and roots. Bayern can show off this Bavarian tradition and history when the world watches the club play in some of the biggest matches in football.
