After weeks of speculation that Bayern Munich would need to sell players in order to fund a deal for RB Leipzig midfielder Marcel Sabitzer, things could actually start progressing.
Sky Sport (as captured by Twitter account @iMiaSanMia) is reporting that Bayern Munich has the funds available to pay the reported fee of €18 to €20 million for Sabitzer. More, Sky Sport says that Sabitzer is Julian Nagelsmann’s top target — and Sabitzer wants to make the move to Bayern Munich:

We had previously heard that Sabitzer wanted the move, but this is the first time that we are seeing any news stating that Bayern Munich has the funds available and could be ready to make a deal happen.
With RB Leipzig reportedly on the market for a midfielder, it appears that this rumor might really have some decent traction. Could Sabitzer be taking the pitch at the Allianz Arena at the end of the month?
We don’t have to wait too much longer to find out.
