Finally, we have the season opener upon us and Bayern Munich will take on Borussia Mönchengladbach in the Bundesliga’s opening match.

Maybe more than any other season in recent memory, Bayern Munich looks a bit vulnerable, but luckily for the Bavarians, Gladbach is dealing with its own issues. Both squads have high expectations and both club hired new managers when their old skippers departed after last season.

While some pundits feel as if Gladbach might be the deeper team, no is denying that Bayern Munich has a starting XI capable of winning multiple titles this season. Will that matter when these two teams do battle? We’ll soon find out.
