No one ever likes to see a player get hurt but when young players suffer through a major injury, it is especially tough to watch.

With that, the news this week for a couple of Bayern Munich youth players probably gave many people agita.

Promising youngsters Moritz Mosandl, a 19-year-old midfielder, and Rares Canea, a 17-year-old defender, both suffered long-term knee injuries. The players each tore their anterior cruciate ligament:

After the strong start to the season for FC Bayern Amateurs in the regional league and before the start of the junior national leagues, the FC Bayern Campus has to cope with two serious issues. Midfielder Moritz Mosandl (19 years old) played in the amateur game at FV Illertissen on Saturday (1: 1) tore a cruciate ligament tear in the left knee. Defender Rares Canea (17) falls after one in the training camp with the U-19s as he suffered a cruciate ligament tear again, which will keep him out a long time. Both players recently came back from long-term injuries and both have now been operated on successfully.

On a lesser scale, defender Remy Vita also suffered a knee injury, but his ailment should only keep him out of action for a couple of weeks.
