Bayern Munich has a new “Gold Partner” — Einhell Germany AG. This family-owned business from the Lower Bavarian city of Landau is now FC Bayern’s “Official Home and Garden Expert.” Einhell produces various power tools and electrical power tools – some of which will now be available to purchase with FC Bayern logos!

About the new partnership, FC Bayern CEO Oliver Kahn said, “FC Bayern and Einhell are not only connected through their Bavarian roots, but above all by their joint mindset and desire to be a little better every day. This 'Weiter, immer weiter' ['always keep going'] attitude is the key to success not just in football, but also in business. We are therefore very pleased to have such a competent and ambitious company as Einhell Germany AG as a partner by our side in the future."

(Editor’s Note: How was Bavarian Grass Works not at least consulted on this deal?)

Einhell’s CEO Andreas Kroiss also commented on the partnership. "FC Bayern is a global brand in world football with a clear strategy and an inherent desire to succeed. We at Einhell live by this standard too. As a supplier of tools and gardening equipment, we were one of the first companies to consistently focus on cordless mobility. In Germany, we are already the market leader with our products in numerous areas. This partnership with the record champions and two-time treble winners underlines our ambition to assume a market-leading role in all markets in which we operate. It also helps to increase awareness of the Einhell brand internationally, as FC Bayern Munich is synonymous globally for first-class quality from Germany."

One of Einhell’s declared goals is to replace gas-powered lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, and other garden equipment with battery-powered devices and engines. Together with Einhell, FC Bayern will implement a strategy to move away from gas-powered engines at their grounds.
