Bayern Munich’s recent links to RB Leipzig midfielder Marcel Sabitzer have been widely reported throughout Europe. One common theme among all of the reports is that Bayern Munich is looking to sell a player or two to help fund the move.
Rumored to be on the discount rack to help generate revenue for Bayern Munich are French midfielders Corentin Tolisso and Michael Cuisance. Per reports out of England, Tolisso is garnering major interest from a few clubs including Manchester United, Arsenal, and West Ham United. As reported many times, Juventus is also among those clubs taking a peek at Polisso as well.
The Metro compiled various reports into once detailing the interest of Manchester United, Arsenal FC, West Ham United, and Juventus:
Manchester United and Arsenal are both interested in signing Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso after the Bundesliga champions halved their asking price, according to reports. The two Premier League sides are both in the market for a new midfielder this summer, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer shelving his pursuit of right-back in favour of a new enforcer and Mikel Arteta eager to bolster the spine of his side.
Julian Nagelsmann is keen to add RB Leipzig’s Marcel Sabitzer to his squad, which would push Tolisso further down the pecking order, so Bayern are happy to let the former Lyon man leave. They had initially set their asking price at €20m (£17m) but, having had no concrete offers, have readjusted their expectations and are simply keen to get Tolisso off their wage bill. United and Arsenal are not the only clubs interested in Tolisso, with Juventus and West Ham also keeping tabs on his situation.
At this stage, we know that Juventus views Tolisso as a fallback option to Manuel Locatelli. Meanwhile, Arsenal, Manchester United, and West Ham United could all be looking to seriously bolster their midfield ranks with an inexpensive — but very talented — player in Tolisso.
