Oliver Kahn knows Julian Nagelsmann can build on Bayern Munich’s success

Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn knows a little bit about success...okay, A LOT.

When Kahn had to help lead the search to find a replacement for Hansi Flick, he knew only a few candidates would be capable of building on the success that Flick achieved in a seamless manner.

One of those people was Julian Nagelsmann and Kahn could not be happier with hiring the former RB Leipzig coach.

“Success at FC Bayern has to come very quickly. We are convinced that Julian Nagelsmann is the right man for us. FC Bayern is voracious when it comes to title ambitions. Julian Nagelsmann is a young, ambitious coach,” Kahn said (as captured by the club website). “He brings forward things that might not have been on your radar. We are fully convinced that we will start a new era with him at FC Bayern.”

Nagelsmann will be looking to continue Bayern Munich’s dominance domestically and will look to help the club achieve more European success.
