Bayern Munich and SSV Jahn Regensburg have reached an agreement for 22-year-old Sarpreet Singh to go on loan this season and played in the 2. Bundesliga.

Singh spent the first half of last season on loan with 1. FC Nürnberg and returned to Bayern Munich in January after an uneventful spell with Der Club:

FC Bayern loaned Sarpreet Singh (22) for one season to second division club SSV Jahn Regensburg. The attacking midfielder, who moved to Munich from his New Zealand homeland two years ago, is expected to gain more match practice in Regensburg. He was already awarded to 1. FC Nürnberg last season and returned to the FC Bayern Campus in January. He has played 38 times (ten goals) for the FC Bayern amateurs and has made two appearances for the professionals.

“Last season at 1. FC Nürnberg, Sarpreet familiarized himself with the requirements in the 2nd division and made his first appearances there at a higher level,” said Jochen Sauer, head of the FC Bayern campus. “Now he should develop sustainably on this level in Regensburg in order to take the next step in his development.”
