Adrian Fein has developed into a solid player during his loans over the last three seasons, but the midfielder now sees his future away from Bayern Munich.
According to Sportbild’s Tobi Altschäffl, Fein wants to play, and he knows the only way that’s going to happen at this point is if he leaves Bayern. Greuther Fürth, previously linked with interest in Fein, is reportedly still interested in bringing him to the newly-promoted Bundesliga club.

Fein spent the 2018/19 season on loan with Jahn Regensburg in the 2.Bundesliga and impressed enough to get a “promotion” with a loan to Hamburg as they pushed for promotion during the 2019/20 season. Fein was rated as one of the best players in the 2.Bundesliga that season, but HSV faltered late in the campaign and were doomed for another season in the 2.Bundesliga.
Last season, Fein was loaned to PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie with a purchase option. Fein could never get in the good graces of manager Roger Schmidt and found himself on the outside looking in for the majority of the season.
A transfer to Fürth could be just what the 22 year old needs to jumpstart his career. We’ve already seen two young, former Bayern prospects in Julian Green and Timothy Tillman move to Fürth in recent years and become regular players in the 2.Bundesliga with them. If Fein does indeed make the move, it’s a well-deserved shot at becoming a regular player at the Bundesliga-level.
