Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan “Brazzo” Salihamidzic has been known to go full “Captain Ahab” when chasing players and his fascination with Chelsea forward Callum Hudson-Odoi over the past two years has resulted in a dozens upon dozens of transfer rumors.
According to SPOX journalist Kerry Hau, though, the latest batch of news we heard linking Hudson-Odoi to a Bayern Munich move is plain rubbish. In fact, Haus says the stories were created by the Chelsea player’s camp in response to Hudson-Odoi not being able to impress Champions League-winning manager Thomas Tuchel.

- LF / RF: The rumors about #HudsonOdoi were primarily scattered once again by his entourage to put pressure on Chelsea because he hardly plays under Tuchel. At most a Coman sale could do something in this direction.
If Hudson-Odoi is going to depend on a transfer of Kingsley Coman to Chelsea, he could be waiting a while. Chelsea has its eyes on a bigger prize in Erling Haaland and with Coman’s asking price creeping toward nine figures, not even a deep-pocketed club like Tuchel’s would be eager to buy an oft-injured winger like Coman for upwards of €100 million.
