Former Bayern Munich treble-winner and current FC Barcelona outcast Philippe Coutinho looks to be headed to the Premier League for his next stop.
While the Brazilian might want a return to Liverpool, he might have to settle for a stay with Leicester City or even Serie A side Inter Milan per The Sun:
PHILIPPE COUTINHO dreams of rejoining Liverpool - but Jurgen Klopp is showing little interest and Leicester are his main Premier League suitors. The Barcelona misfit, 29, is currently recovering from knee surgery and is still admired by Nou Camp boss Ronald Koeman.
But reports in Spain suggest the Brazil playmaker would love to recreate his peak period at Anfield, although Reds’ boss Klopp is not thought to be considering a bid. Instead, a season’s loan elsewhere is tipped as a major option. Inter Milan and the Foxes have been mentioned. But it’s thought Koeman hopes Coutinho can be fit enough to fight for a regular starting spot at the Nou Camp.
Whatever happens, it at least looks like Coutinho will be healthy enough to be a contributor to whatever club he plays with next season.
