Manchester City midfielder İlkay Gündoğan is reportedly considering retirement from international play and is going to meet with former Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick to determine if he should continue onward. There have already been reports that Flick is going to turn the page in the midfield and use Leon Goretzka and Joshua Kimmich as starters.

Being a reserve on the national team at this stage of his career might not be something Gündoğan is interested in:

Doku on Bayern’s radar? (@cfbayen via @iMiaSanMia)

Bayern Munich is reportedly keeping an eye on Belgium winger Jeremy Doku, who was one of a handful of players to use the Euros as a platform to market himself. The 19-year-old plays his club ball for Stade Rennais, so there is a good chance that the Bavarians already have a decent book on the youngster considering how long Bayern Munich has been scouting Doku’s teammate, midfielder Eduardo Camavinga:

Gunners, Chelsea making late run at Ramos (Transfer Market Web)

Arsenal FC and Chelsea FC are reportedly making a late push to sign Real Madrid free agent Sergio Ramos. There have been numerous reports stating that the 35-year-old is headed to Paris Saint-Germain, but the English clubs might be ready to open their checkbooks for the veteran defender:

The pretenders to defender Sergio Ramos, who freed himself from Real Madrid after 16 years of militancy, are increasing. The Spaniard has been close to PSG for some time, but in recent days problems have emerged regarding the impact he could have in the Parisian team’s dressing room and the duration of the contract.

For this reason, as reported by the English edition of Goal, two London clubs would be moving on the player: Arsenal and Chelsea. The Gunners have already contacted Ramos to test the ground, while the Blues would be at the window awaiting events.

Ronaldo-Pogba swap deal? (Sky)

Could Manchester United and Juventus be toying with the idea of swap deal involving Paul Pogba and Cristiano Ronaldo:

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba and Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo have been linked with a swap deal this summer as both players’ contracts are due to expire at the end of next season.

Tessmann headed to Serie A (ESPN)

When Bayern Munich hosted a crew of FC Dallas players for training last winter, Tanner Tessmann was among the select few to get the opportunity to travel to Munich:

FC Dallas and U.S. international midfielder Tanner Tessmann is on the verge of being transferred to Serie A side Venezia, multiple sources have told ESPN.

Multiple sources also indicated that the proposed fee is in excess of $3 million, but one source cautioned that there is still some work to do to complete the deal. Just last January Tessmann had training stint with Bayern Munich during the MLS offseason.

Tessmann, of course, was also a star kicker in American football and had a scholarship offer from NCAA power Clemson.
