Sky Sports Italia journalist Matteo Moretto tweeted this morning that Bayern Munich’s Joshua Zirkzee has at least two suitors from abroad after all. Once of them is Serie A club Hellas Verona.
Il Verona ci prova per Joshua Zirkzee del Bayern Monaco, che ha anche un’altra offerta dall’estero. Pista complicata ma aperta. A un passo il ritorno di Ivan Ilic dal Manchester City questa volta a titolo definitivo

Verona is sounding out Joshua Zirkzee of Bayern Munich, which also has another offer from abroad. A complicated but open path forward. [...]
Hellas Verona is a midtable Serie A club that finished 10th last season with 45 points, or roughly half the 91 points collected by champions Inter Milan. It would be a step up for Zirkzee from Parma, where he was loaned: Parma finished dead last and was relegated to Serie B, while Zirkzee played a marginal role.
Zirkzee has not covered himself in glory this preseason despite his need to impress. In Bayern Munich’s friendly against Ajax Amsterdam, Zirkzee’s presumptuous carelessness made him an early contender for Internet pundits’ “miss of the season,” as he let a sure goal be poked away by a diligent defender.
Few think that Zirkzee stands a chance of featuring regularly for Bayern Munich’s first team, while he has outgrown Bayern II, now relegated back to the Regionalliga after two seasons in the 3. Liga. A new, more serious challenge would do Zirkzee good, if he can convince a suitor to give it to him.
