According to a report from kicker (as captured by Twitter account @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich youngsters Josip Stanisic, Armindo Sieb, Torben Rhein, and Christopher Scott have all impressed new manager Julian Nagelsmann.
The quartet has been so good in Nagelsmann’s eyes that each player could have a legitimate chance to compete for a regular spot in the first team gameday roster — depending on what, if anything, the club does in the transfer market between now and the start of the season.
Sieb and Rhein have been true standouts in the two friendlies thus far, while Stanisic just seems to be very solid and hard-working. Scott was banged up against FC Köln last weekend, but is reportedly one of Nagelsmann’s special projects. The former RB Leipzig manager thinks Scott could potentially be a candidate to play as a right wing-back or right-back and provide the same type of impact from the flank that Alphonso Davies does. Whether that happens or not remains to be seen.
