That was a lot of fun honestly.

Bayern Munich and Ajax fought to a fun — and relatively well-played — 2-2 draw in Germany. There were some good things — and some not so good things — about the match, but we saw some progress from the Bayern Munich youngsters and from a few vets as well.

On this episode we discuss the following:

  • The good performance from players like Armindo Sieb, Tanguy Nianzou, Michael Cuisance, and Torben Rhein.
  • The huge gaffe by Joshua Zirkzee — who was actually doing well prior to that.
  • Why things are never going to look really pretty in these friendlies.
  • The fearlessness of the Bayern Munich’s youngsters and why Julian Nagelsmann might be an influence with that.
