Bayern Munich is slowly getting its first-team players back at the training ground. As the team’s training under Julian Nagelsmann is slowly heating up, the club welcomes players returning from their vacations.
One of the first players to return to Säbener Straße was Serge Gnabry. Bayern’s winger returned 24 days after Germany got knocked out by England out of the Euros. As AZ reports, Gnabry returned three days earlier than expected.
Gnabry completed warm-up with the team and then continued working individually on the sidelines.

More players should return on Monday and begin with their preparations for the new season. After their spells at the Euros, the squad list will gradually fill up, ahead of Bayern Munich’s friendlies against Ajax, Borussia Mönchengladbach, and SSC Napoli.
The only exceptions are Manuel Neuer, Thomas Müller, and Joshua Kimmich, who will return on the 31st of July.
In exactly two weeks, Bayern will play in the DFB-Pokal against Bremer SV, which will be Nagelsmann’s first official match as Bayern’s manager. And then, a week later — the Bundesliga opener against Borussia Mönchengladbach!
