Bayern Munich II got their return season in the Regionalliga Bundesliga last week with a 3-0 win against Augsburg II. Now the young Bavarians will host SV Heimstetten at the Grünwalder Stadion for the club’s second match of the season.

“Despite the frequent changes in our squad, we showed a very good performance against Augsburg and rewarded ourselves with the opening success,” Martin Demichelis said. “We want to build on that against Heimstetten and give our fans their first home win. We trust our young players, they do their job extremely well."

The young Bavarians have a great record against Heimstetten, having never lost a match. With six straight wins (The clubs drew the first two matches.), Bayern II will look to extend their winning streak against Heimstetten.

Bayern II will be without a lot of players for this one just as they were last week. While a handful of players are still with the first team, Bayern II are also missing seven players due to injury. Johannes Schenk, Maximilian Welzmüller, Lenn Jastremski, Jahn Herrmann, Marvin Cuni, Leon Fust, and Lukas Scneller are all out. Besides Schenk, most are close to their return.

It’s Bayern (II!) time.
