According to Abendzeitung reporter Maximilian Koch, Bayern Munich youngster Lucas Copado picked up a thumb injury that will require surgery.
The 17-year-old striker, who has opened some eyes during Bayern Munich’s first training camp under Julian Nagelsmann, is out for the time being and will at least miss Saturday’s friendly against Ajax.
The injury comes at a very tough time for player looking to prove himself this summer:

Copado, of course, is not competing for a starting role on the first team by any means, but is seeking to show that he can play at that level during this training camp. There is not yet any word on how long the nephew of sporting director Hasan “Brazzo” Salihamidzic will miss due to this injury.
