Bayern Munich refraining from any additional summer signings

It seems as though the Bayern head office is content with the current quality of the squad which means a very quiet summer for the club.

It has been reported by Sport Bild that there are currently no discussions of any potential new signings for Bayern Munich. So much so, that not even names are being discussed at the club facilities. Hasan Salihamidžić is attempting to seek out some bargains, but the Bavarian giants are said to be satisfied with the current squad’s quality and depth heading into the season in August.

Due to the financial crisis of so many teams around the globe, it is still hard for Bayern to find a player at enough of a bargain to sign. Despite Bayern being so frugal, even themselves have been hit hard by the current pandemic.

Despite facing injury issues with defenders Davies and Hernández, Brazzo sees no urgent need to act. It is well known that the club keeps its eyes on certain players for long periods of time before striking a move at an opportune moment. This doesn’t seem to be the right time for Die Roten so what we see now will most likely remain until economic hardship has at least seen significant improvement.

Until then, Julian Nagelsmann might have to get creative.
