On Monday, Die Roten started off their third week of preseason. There are now only 17 days to go until (as of Tuesday) Bayern Munich kicks off their 2021/2022 season. Their first competitive game will be against Bremer SV in the DFB-Pokal.
Nagelsmann is well known for his excellent youth coaching and the new Bayern boss is making the most out of this time to train Bayern’s youngsters. The squad is still filled with youth players as Bayern’s international players are finishing up their vacation. Until then, Nagelsmann will continue to work with the young talent and has already been impressed by several players. “Some of them did really well today,“ the Bayern coach stated.
“The majority of the boys come back on 26 July, but they still have to do their tests first. After that, it’s about integrating the international players and getting the routines right as quickly as possible. We’ve still got some time before the first DFB Cup and Bundesliga matches. We’ll manage everything and go into the competitive fixtures well prepared,” Nagelsmann stated.
