According to Sky Sport, Bayern Munich might not just be scoping the three right-backs from FC Barcelona. The Bavarians could have their eyes on Sassuolo’s Mert Müldür:

One of the players to watch out for at FC Bayern, according to the Sky Transfer experts, is Mert Müldür. The Vienna-born Turk is currently under contract with US Sassuolo in Italy, is 22 years old and last played for the Turkish national team at EURO 2020.

“Someone with good anticipation, who is very strong in a duel, hits a lot of crosses and dribbles well,” (Sky Transfer expert Marc) Behrenbeck said about the trained right-back, who can also be deployed on the left. His defensive and aerial duels are still in need of improvement. ”A player who is interesting,” said Behrenbeck. Arsenal FC and Spanish clubs are also already interested. ”Bayern asked about him, but there have been no concrete negotiations so far,” explains the Sky Transfer expert.

With Bouna Sarr proving to be incapable of proving any type of stability for Bayern Munich as Benjamin Pavard’s back-up, the Bavarians might have to get creative in finding a depth solution at right-back.
