Options for Lewy swap — don’t laugh too hard (Daily Express)
If you are inclined to actually believe those rumors about Chelsea FC bidding on Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski, then you will love these “options” that Thomas Tuchel’s club is — allegedly — offering for a swap deal:
Chelsea have reportedly turned their attention towards Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski in a new attempt to get a top-class striker through the door this summer. Their well-publicised pursuit of Erling Haaland may have hit a dead end, and the club seem to be considering other options.
Transfer chief Marina Granovskaia saw a player-plus-cash bid, involving Tammy Abraham, rejected by Borussia Dortmund this week. In turning their attention towards Lewandowski, they have pinpointed one of only two men to have outscored Haaland in the Bundesliga last season.
So...what studs will Chelsea offer? Mason Mount? Kai Havertz? Timo Werner?
How about Tammy Abraham, Hakim Ziyech, and Callum Hudson-Odoi?
Back to the drawing board, Londoners!
Chelsea looking to sell Werner (Transfer Market Web)
After only one season, Chelsea is reportedly looking to get rid of Timo Werner:
Chelsea are ready to offload Timo Werner in the summer transfer window - according to Sky Germany.
The Blues have been asking around a number of top European clubs to find a potential suitor for the 25-year-old, who struggled in his first season at Stamford Bridge.
Should Werner be sold, Chelsea are planning to use the money to fund their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund frontman Erling Haaland.
It will be interesting to see how serious Chelsea gets about selling Werner.
Barca eyeing Sanches (Sport Bild)
FC Barcelona is reportedly going to compete with Liverpool for former Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches:
At Bayern, Portugal talent Renato Sanches (23) did not find his form at all, flopped tremendously during his time with the record champions and left Munich in 2019. Two years later, Europe’s top clubs are vying for the Lille star!
Latest prospect: FC Barcelona. The Spanish record cup winner wants to lure the midfielder to the Camp Nou, according to the Daily Mail. Barça coach Ronald Koeman (58) wants to get a “dynamic” player for the central midfield - Sanches should be at the top of his wish list. According to the French “L’Équipe”, Jürgen Klopp (54) and Liverpool, as well as Arsenal FC, are also interested in the Portuguese.
Sanches to FC Barcelona would be something. Perhaps a little more mature than he was in Munich (and assuredly more than he was during his loan with Swansea City), Sanches could finally be ready for the bright lights and big stage of a top-tier club.

This reminded me of our old Computer Generated Bundesliga...and the straight fire Wacker 09 kits I made. I still love these and would gladly rep Wacker 09. If you missed that story (it’s more of an odyssey), check the link.
