Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann is always seeking to learn.
There is often no better way to educate yourself than to spend time with experienced, knowledgeable people. Knowing that, Nagelsmann made the trek to Tegernsee to spend some time with Bayern Munich board member Uli Hoeneß.
“I was warmly welcomed. I think that’s always special when someone has been very successful throughout their life. He made a very successful club out of Bayern Munich, in Germany anyway, but also in the world. Nevertheless, he is a man who is incredibly personable and down to earth. That is what particularly stuck out,” Nagelsmann told Sky Sport.
Nagelsmann appreciated the meeting and thought that it showed how closely-knit the club is.
“FC Bayern Munich is a club with a family atmosphere, with a good family atmosphere, with good communication,” Nagelsmann said. “So all things that are also important to me because I am already an advocate that a good mood and happiness at work are a very important foundation for success.”
That attitude and mindset will serve Nagelsmann well as he navigates his inaugural season on Säbener Straße.
