Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan “Brazzo” Salihamidzic sat close to Julian Nagelsmann on the bench during the club’s 3-2 friendly loss to FC Köln.

The two men were often caught on camera conversing during the match and appeared to have an open dialogue throughout the contest.

When asked after the match how things were progressing under Nagelsmann, Salihamidzic indicated that everything is great early in the new boss’ tenure.

“It’s been going very well so far. It is absolutely as you imagine it to be,” Salihamidzic told Abendzeitung’s Maximilian Koch.

The result surely was not what everyone was looking for on the day, but no one at Bayern Munich appeared to be concerned with the defeat. The squad was a mixed bag of youngsters and bench players. with only one player (Dayot Upamecano) actually in contention for a starting role.

As for how the squad looked under Nagelsmann, there was a free flow feeling to the offense, but the defense struggled with communication and coverage. If not for a few misplays on the backline, Bayern Munich could have emerged victorious.
