Bayern Munich midfielder Marc Roca is hoping fans get to know his play on the field a little bit more this season, but the Spanish youngster recently gave some insight into who he is as a person.

“The most important person in my life is my friend Galla. She keeps my bad mood out when I’m not playing or Bayern lose. Especially in times of pandemic, when we were hardly allowed to receive visitors, Galla was, next to our two dachshunds, my great luck,” Roca told Bild. “It was anything but easy for her to accompany me to Munich, as she left family, friends and her business behind in Barcelona for a new life that we don’t know what it will bring us. I am so grateful to her! The two of us are a team and this adventure makes us stronger. “

When asked about his dogs, Roca said the dogs bring a lot to his home life.

“Their names are Brodie and Louis, they are one and three-years-old,” said Roca. “We like to go to the English Garden with you or to the city center in the evening. In times of corona and social distancing, they are very entertaining to us.”

As for his girlfriend, Roca said she is a real talent.

“She is a real artist! She paints a lot of spectacular pictures. I have no talent for it. At school I was good everywhere, just not at drawing,” Roca said.

Roca was also asked about why he does not have any tattoos and the midfielder just basically said they are not for him.

“It’s not that I don’t like them. My parents only told me from an early age that tattoos were taboo (laughs). That is also my decision - but I would never say never,” Roca said.
