Tuchel wants Haaland...now (Bild)

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel does not want to wait until next summer to make an offer for Borussia Dortmund phenom — and rumored Bayern Munich transfer target — Erling Haaland; he wants to get the Norwegian striker now:

As the English newspaper “Mirror” reports, ex-BVB coach Thomas Tuchel (47), of all things, wants to lure Dortmund striker Erling Haaland (20 / contract until 2024) to the island this season.

Accordingly, the Champions League winner should be ready to pay 175 million euros for the Norwegian. A transfer that would make Haaland the second most expensive player in the world after Paris superstar Neymar (for €222 million in 2018 from Barcelona) ...

Haaland-to-Chelsea would be a severe blow to Borussia Dortmund’s Bundesliga and Champions League hopes for this season, but that is A LOT of money to turn down.

Would Dortmund sell off Haaland early in order to get more than twice as much as they would next summer?

The next few weeks could be interesting.

Haaland, meanwhile, is getting some work in on the farm:

No United swap deal for Kane (Transfer Market Web)

If Harry Kane leaves Tottenham Hotspur, it likely won’t be for Manchester United:

Red Devils won’t offer players for Spurs star. Manchester United are not looking to do a part-exchange deal with Tottenham for Harry Kane, claims Express Sport.

There had been suggestions that the Red Devils would look to include players already on their books as sweeteners in a bid to prise a prolific frontman away from north London.

Götze no thinking about a PSV exit (kicker)

2014 World Cup hero Mario Götze is happy with PSV Eindhoven is not thinking about leaving the club:

Mario Götze (29) can imagine another year at PSV Eindhoven. “I’m not thinking of saying goodbye at the moment,” the 2014 world champion was quoted as saying in an interview on the PSV website. In retrospect, Götze called the move to Eindhoven a “very good decision for me and for my family.”

Man City wants Griezmann as Barca talks swap deal with Atleti (ESPN)

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is trying to convince FC Barcelona’s Antoine Griezmann to join him in England, but the Catalan club might want to talk a swap deal with Atletico Madrid for Saul Niguez:

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has made a personal call to Barcelona forward Antoine Griezmann regarding a possible move to the Etihad Stadium this summer. That was reported in French title Footmercato, which states that City are in “good contact” with the France international’s agent.

But Mundo Deportivo reports that Barcelona are considering a swap deal with Atletico Madrid for Saul Niguez. The proposed swap deal would benefit both parties and is in the initial stages.

Those old rumors linking Bayern Munich to Saul seem crazier by the day.

PSG wants Pogba, too (Transfer Market Web)

Is this the NBA or European football? It seems like Paris Saint-Germain is aiming to build a super team:

After Wijnaldum, Hakimi, Sergio Ramos and Donnarumma, PSG is looking for a way to get Paul Pogba as well. This news came out from L’Equipe some days ago and it has been confirmed today by Star. French giants are thinking they can get the former Juventus midfielder at a discounted price around 50M euro since his contract will expire next June.
