BPW’s Euro 2020 Previews: Group A

Hello everyone, I’d like to formally welcome you all to our coverage of the UEFA Euro 2020 tournament. Here at the podcast, we will be bringing you one of the biggest efforts we’ve had for an international tournament complete with daily recaps, highlights, previews of upcoming games and insights from team correspondents.

But, to start off, we have previews for each group, and here is what you’ll hear on our episode for Group A:

These are the teams entering Group A of the 2020 edition of the Euros:
-Italy: a dominant run entering this tournament for Gli Azzuri looks to see them reclaim their title as one of Europe’s best after an absence from the 2018 World Cup
-Switzerland: after good showings in their last two major tournaments, can the Nati keep up their momentum?
-Turkey: they’ve only qualified for four major tournaments in their last 8 attempts. Can the Crescent Stars make an impact at this tournament?
-Wales: A magical run to the semifinals of Euro 2016 was met with disappointment in World Cup qualifying. Entering this tournament, there’s been a major shakeup in the managerial ranks. Can Wales overcome all of this and make fans of Y Dreigau believe again?
