Goretzka poised to ink new deal (Abendzeitung)

Bayern Munich Leon Goretzka seems poised to sign a contract extension with the Bavarians:

According to AZ information, Goretzka sees the commitment of the new coach Julian Nagelsmann (33) very positively, so the coach is a small piece of the puzzle in the contract extension.

Goretzka thinks Nagelsmann and his game philosophy are good, he is looking forward to working together at Bayern. It could be a longer cooperation: Nagelsmann is known to have committed himself to the Munich-based company until 2026.

Goretzka has long been rumored to be close to a deal with Bayern Munich and now those whispers appear closer to becoming reality.

Nübel looking more ready to leave, but (kicker via @iMiaSanMia)

Per a report a kicker (as captured by Twitter account @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich is becoming more comfortable with Alexander Nübel leaving on a loan — just as long as he goes to a club that focuses on building out of the back. Monaco and Lille are the frontrunners to land Nübel’s on a two-year loan deal.

To replace Nübel, Bayern Munich has not started making firm plans. The club has not been in contact with Sven Ulreich, but does think Arminia Bielefeld’s Stefan Ortega could be a fit.

No offer for Sancho? (@cfbayern)

Sport Bild journalist Christian Falk is denying reports that Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund are engaged in talks for Jadon Sancho:

Ziyech out at Chelsea? (Transfer Market Web)

Hakim Ziyech’s tenure in London could come to a premature end:

Hakim Ziyech’s performance in 20/21 was not what The Blues expected. Playing 47 games, he just scored 9 goals and 3 assists. According to football London Chelsea is now considering selling the 28-year-old midfielder if they receive an acceptable offer. It seems Napoli is the most serious customer so far. After their failure to qualify for Champions League, Gli Azzurri have decided to improve their attacking line. Considering Mertens’ age, Luciano Spalletti hopes to find a relatively young, experienced duo for Insigne in the attacking line, and Ziyech can be an affordable option this summer.
